Crossword Puzzle Helper 1.1.0 (Yahoo Crossword Puzzle) Description:

Use this utility to find crossword puzzle words when you do not have all the letters. A default word set of over forty-eight thousand words is included and you can add/delete from this word set.

The "?" character is a wild card. Use a "?" when you do not know a letter. Type the search word with letters and "?" characters into the field and click on the "Start" button. All words meeting the search word will be added to the table. Changing the search word clears the table for the next search.

When you first start, the application uses a default word set. The Maintenance window can be used to add and delete words. Add a word by entering the new word into the field to the left of the "Add Word" button and clicking on the "Add Word" button. Delete a word by clicking on the word in the list and clicking on the "Delete Word" button. Notice that the number of words displayed changes as you add or delete words. The list is sorted automatically as words are added.

Click on the "Use Default Word Set" button to revert to the default word set.
